The Dealer Group continues to operate its existing car dealership at Kingstown Industrial Estate, reinforcing its strong presence in the area.

The new Transit Centre was opened on Thursday, 3^rd July 2025, by TrustFord’s CEO Stuart Mustoe, and Mandy Dean, Director of Commercial Vehicles at Ford of Britain & Ireland. Also in attendance were Mark Hughes, Head Coach at Carlisle United FC, (a team proudly sponsored by TrustFord Carlisle), representatives from Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, and members of TrustFord’s Board and Leadership team.

Stuart Mustoe, Chief Executive Officer of TrustFord, said: “It was a pleasure to visit Carlisle today to officially open our new Transit Centre. This impressive new facility reflects TrustFord’s continued investment in the area and our commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience. I’m incredibly proud of our Carlisle team and everyone who supported the project — their hard work has ensured this site truly represents our goal of driving the standard in customer care.”

The state-of-the-art facility which opened its doors in March 2025, covers 3 acres, including 15k square feet of showroom and an 8-bay, EV equipped workshop space. The energy efficient, new build showroom has achieved an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) ‘A’ rating, and includes solar PV panels to generate electricity, while the use of LED lighting will improve energy efficiency.

Speaking at the opening Mandy Dean added: “It’s a privilege to join the team at Carlisle and celebrate the official opening of this new Transit Centre. This stunning new site is a great space for customers to come and experience our latest commercial vehicles — including the E-Transit Custom and Ranger Plug-In Hybrid.”

TrustFord Carlisle remains a strong supporter of the local community. The site has been raising much-needed funds for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children’s Hospice through a range of events and activities, including participation in the 2025 Gelt Gladiator challenge and a recent ‘Drive 4UR Community’ Test Drive Day held at Carlisle United Stadium, where each test drive generated a £30 donation from Ford.
