AllFord returns to Alford for 'best ever' show with TrustFord as main Sponsor

Added: 25 August 2023

The Grampian Transport Museum’s much loved AllFord event retuned to Alford for its ninth year on Sunday 20th August, with the support of TrustFord, the UK’s largest Ford dealer group, for the second consecutive year.

With over 240 entries, a record turnout for the Museum, the event offered car enthusiasts and the public the opportunity to browse through years of Ford heritage.

The entries included a special collection of heritage vehicles brought by TrustFord, including a very rare 2005 Ford GT, a World Rally Championship Ford Fiesta, the only yellow Escort RS Cosworth ever built, and a rare Ford Mondeo Mk1, which celebrated its 30th anniversary. An original 1977 Fiesta was also on display as this year’s event paid special homage to the much-loved Ford Fiesta.

Visitors also enjoyed a fantastic range of New Ford Car and Commercial vehicles on the TrustFord stand, including the All-New Ford Tourneo Custom - which made its debut in Scotland for the very first time.

As part of the celebrations, the TrustFord Trust made a £1,500 donation to the Grampian Transport Museum.

Ahead of the Dealer Group’s official showroom opening on the West Tullos Industrial Estate in 2024, their fully operational temporary facility on Minto Drive is open and includes New and Used Car, Motability, and Commercial Vehicle sales, as well as Aftersales and Mobile Servicing.

If you you’re keen to join the award-winning Group, vacancies for TrustFord Aberdeen will be live on www.trustfordjobs.co.uk from Monday 4th September. Alternatively, you can attend their Recruitment Event from 16th – 20th October at Sandman Signature Hotel, Aberdeen.

Glen Kenington, Regional Director at TrustFord, said:

“TrustFord was delighted to once again support and attend this year’s AllFord at Alford event.

The sun was shining and with over 240 classic entries and a fantastic range of New Ford vehicles on the TrustFord stand, including the All-New Ford Tourneo Custom, the day couldn’t have gone better.

TrustFord is always keen to give something back, so we were delighted to donate £1,500 to the Grampian Transport Museum so they can continue their fantastic work.

I would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make it another memorable and really exciting event.”

Kevin McCormick FIoD, MCIPR, Volunteer at Grampian Transport Museum, added:

“AllFord 2023 was a wonderful day with an excellent turnout of some of the best Fords and Ford powered vehicles in the North East of Scotland and some from much further afield. I am delighted that the weather was kind, and the sun shone all day.

Thanks to TrustFord we were very excited to be able to announce the Scottish display debut of the new Ford Transit Tourneo Custom which was brought to Alford for the event. It is a beautifully designed van and seeing it sitting beside the 205mph 2005 Ford GT from the Ford Heritage Collection was one of my memorable images of the day.”
