Latest Update on TrustFord's Covid-19 Actions
15/07/2021 - England
Following the government announcement around the relaxing of social distancing rules and mask wearing in England, we have updated our guidelines on what you should expect when visiting our dealerships. Given the on-going situation and in the spirit of care, TrustFord are going to remain vigilant…
- We ask that you continue to use the hand sanitising stations which will remain in place at every site
- Face Masks are discretionary but our colleagues are wearing them when in close proximity. Please do the same if you can.
- For an unaccompanied test drive you will be required to leave your passport and recent utility bill (which we will store safely for you in a bag) while you take the vehicle out. Please liaise directly with your local site for more information about how we can help you.
- We will continue to carefully wipe down and sanitise your vehicle prior to handover – after it has been purchased or serviced
- We have kept Perspex screens in place at our service and sales desks
30/09/2021 - Northern Ireland
No updates have been made to the relaxation of mask wearing for Northern Ireland. However, social distancing rules have been relaxed. Therefore the below still applies to all Northern Irish sites…
All customers are now able to visit our showrooms to browse and shop but will still be required to wear masks. Additionally we are able to offer Click and Collect as well as Off-Site Delivery. We're still operating Servicing and MOTs for cars and vans, but to keep everyone safe these are by appointment only. You can make your appointment via our online booking form or by calling 028 9694 9520 for Northern Ireland.
Our fleet of Mobile Service Vans continue to operate and our Fleet and PartsPlus operations remain open with appropriate measures in place to keep customers and colleagues safe.

Coronavirus - Covid-19: A message from Stuart Foulds, Chairman & CEO
After weeks of waiting and planning I am delighted that we can once again open for business at most of our sites from Monday 1st June.
Our number one priority remains the wellbeing and safety of our customers and colleagues. In the build up to reopening, our teams have been working hard to make sure we can make shopping with TrustFord as safe as possible in our changed world.
Our Health & Safety actions are far-reaching and include investing in PPE such as disposable gloves, masks & sanitisation points. All returning colleagues undertake mandatory Health & Safety training to make sure they are properly briefed.
When visiting, please be prepared to find our sites looking different. We have made necessary changes to facilitate safe entry and exit along with 2 metre distancing and you will see floor markers and Perspex screens on all desks. Behind the scenes our offices and workshops have also changed. Everyone, including our Technicians, is working at a safe distance from each other and all vehicles are safely wiped down and cleaned before handover. While we continue to do everything we can to keep driving the standard in customer care, please note things may take a little bit longer than usual as we prioritise safety over speed.
During the crisis we have moved quickly to offer customers new offers such as our ‘Choose it Now’ proposition on the website, enabling you to reserve your chosen vehicle in advance. We are also now facilitating payment on line and video chat technology helps us explain our amazing product range remotely. From start to finish we can now offer you a ‘touch free’ shopping experience on site or through home delivery.
As we look to the future we are prioritising immediate customer needs and will continue to adapt as required, responding to a dramatically changed market at each step of our recovery. Our strategy is to move carefully. Safety is paramount so we will be making sure that as we start to reopen sites we do it because we are ready – not because we are able.
Thank you for your patience throughout – please stay safe and well,

Coronavirus - Covid-19: A message from Stuart Foulds, Chairman & CEO
Thank you for your patience during the lockdown period. The Government’s latest legislation does not yet permit us to reopen our showrooms but we are permitted to reopen for Aftersales and a Sales Vehicle "Click and Collect" or Delivery service.
To keep you and our colleagues’ safe, we will be asking customers to come on site by appointment only.
For Sales
We are prioritising those customers who bought their car or van but were unable to collect it prior to lockdown and those who have reserved a used vehicle via our ‘Choose It Now’ proposition. A member of the sales team will be in touch to set up these appointments as soon as possible.
To make an online purchase using our "Click & Collect" service, please contact 0800 158 5959 and we will talk you through your enquiry and our ‘touch free’ sale process.
For Service or MOT
We are currently open to serve Key and Essential customers only. Plans are well underway to safely re-open for all Service Customers soon. We will update you as soon as we can - for now please refer to our frequently asked questions and if there is anything extra you need help with please don’t hesitate to contact us on 0208 536 6120.
Please be patient with us as our contact centres and dealerships remain on skeleton staffing so it may take a little longer than usual to answer your call.
I am delighted that we will soon be up and running properly and would like to thank all of our customers and colleagues for their loyalty and support during this challenging time.

Please see below a Statement from our Chairman regarding TrustFord's action relating to Covid-19.
Coronavirus - Covid-19: A message from Stuart Foulds, Chairman & CEO
We must play our own part in protecting the most vulnerable in our society and make sure that the NHS and front line services are able to function in the days and weeks ahead.
In light of the Government’s announcement last night we will be temporarily closing the majority of our business today, 24th March, until further notice.
To keep the country’s NHS, and those key workers listed under the Government’s official list, on the road we will maintain skeleton aftersales and in support of these functions, our Parts Plus business will also continue to operate.
If you are a key worker whose vehicle is currently in our workshop or have a specific question please contact 0208 536 6120 and we will do everything we can to return your vehicle compliantly and safely.
On behalf of the board & leadership team I would like to thank everyone in the TrustFord family for their hard work, loyalty and incredible efforts over recent weeks to help us get through what has been an unprecedented time in our lives.
We all look forward to happier times – if you wish to stay in touch, we will continue to use our social media pages to stay connected with everyone in the TrustFord community.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
